Building a Hugelkultur mound for my Green Beans

For this one, I chose to dig up one row at a time.

And filling the hole with medium sized branches.

Then covering them with the lumps of soil and grass, with the grass faced down.

I finished it off with a few layers of peat moss, manure, humus, and top soil.

Waiting on the freak cold snap to pass before laying down the rest of my seeds.
Can’t wait to get the growing season going!
